How Hezar handles your meetings

You're trusting us with real conversations. Here's exactly what happens to them.

What the Notetaker does

The Hezar.ai Notetaker joins your call visibly, under its own name, and appears in the participant list on Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. It records the audio, video and transcript of the call.

It only joins calls you send it to, or, on Executive, calendar events you enable from your connected calendar.

Recording laws vary by location. You are responsible for notifying participants and getting any consent that is required before a call is recorded, transcribed or analyzed.

Message you can send before the call

Heads up: I’m using Hezar.ai to record this call for my own communication coaching. Let me know if you’d prefer I didn’t.

Where your data lives

Recordings are kept in private cloud object storage. Reports and transcripts are kept in our database. Both are available only through your signed-in account.

We use service providers to run the service, only in these categories:

  • Authentication
  • Calendar connectivity
  • Meeting recording
  • Object storage
  • Analytics
  • AI-assisted transcription and analysis

Your controls

  • Disconnect your calendar at any time in Settings.
  • You choose which calls Hezar joins.
  • Request deletion of your account and recordings by emailing privacy@hezar.ai.
  • We don't sell your personal information.

The full details are in our Privacy Policy.
